Gary has spent his career with consultancies focused on organizational transformation, leadership development, sustainable large-scale system change and teamwork. Gary was VP responsible for the transformational practice at Computer Science Corporation (CSC), a business services and information technology company. In this role he lead a four-year transformational journey with the firm’s largest client.
Prior to CSC, Gary was a partner in the DiBianca-Berkman Group, a coaching and consulting firm of 50 professionals noted for their seminal work in large-scale organizational change. While with DiBianca-Berkman, Gary led numerous multi-year projects with major clients that involved large-scale culture change, leadership development and breakthrough projects that successfully helped companies address dramatic changes in their markets, produce unpredictable results and sustainably change their cultures.
At Bickson Pitcher Seeton, Gary led three projects with Abitibi Price, then the largest pulp and paper manufacturer in the world, Campbell’s Canada and Monsanto Canada.
Gary’s commitment to serving people was first demonstrated in his early careers as a state and federal level public sector consultant dealing with education and health issues, as a high school teacher, as a Vista Volunteer in rural America and as an RN in the intensive care nursery at Washington Hospital Center in DC.
During the last 16 years, Gary’s interest in meditation, spirituality and charitable work has repeatedly brought him to India, where he served with the Shirdi Sai Global Trust®, an educational and healthcare trust for the poor and needy.
Gary has extensive training from leading edge coaching and training organizations, and business courses, including the Harvard Executive MBA program. He obtained his Masters in Public Health at John Hopkins, his Masters in Arts of Teaching at Northwestern, and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Illinois.
