For over 35 years, Anne Miller has applied her consulting expertise, including her action-oriented learning approach, to working with executives and multicultural teams in Fortune 100 companies in many areas of the world. As an executive coach, consultant and educator, she specializes in leadership development, executive alignment and rapid cycle implementations. To ensure clients get what they really need, she designs learning experiences and organizational transformation initiatives that develop leaders while simultaneously accelerating relevant business results. More recently, her interest is in working on projects that directly impact significant global concerns like environmental sustainability and breakthroughs in healthcare and education.
Anne has coached senior executives and their teams who are committed to going beyond their past successes in a variety of industries and cultures. A citizen of the USA and the UK, she has lived and worked in Europe, Malaysia, South Africa, Brazil and Mexico. She began her career in IT, leading teams of analysts and programmers in the design and development of customer solutions for financial services, seismic exploration and oceanographic research.
Working from the premise that it is far easier to “act your way into a new way of thinking” than to “think your way into a new way of acting”, this former principal of CSC Index (UK and Hong Kong) continues to help people act differently and then pay attention to what they’re learning in the process of doing business. Co-author with Richard Pascale of “Acting Your Way Into a New Way of Thinking” (Leader to Leader) and “Action Lab: Greenhouse for Change” (Strategy + Business), Anne was an invited member of the original Drucker Thought Leaders Forum (before the establishment of the Leader to Leader Institute), which focused on the ongoing application of Peter Drucker’s ideas on effective management, ethical leadership and social responsibility.
Ms. Miller has worked with two leading business schools (Vanderbilt Owen and London Business School) in the design and implementation of new programs to address entrepreneurship and leadership challenges. As an advisor to the London Business School, Anne created and then served as founding director of the Entrepreneurship Summer School.
She serves on the board of Silver Bullet Productions, a non-profit serving the Native American and Hispanic communities in New Mexico. Her pro bono work has also included the design and delivery of an entrepreneurship training program in Eastern Europe after the Bosnian War. In conjunction with local agencies and a contribution from the local BBC, the program helped women who had escaped the sex trade or who were at risk build confidence and competence through business idea development, mentorship and model job interviews to support their reintegration process.
Anne received a BA in mathematics from Colorado College and graduated with merit as a Sloan Fellow from London Business School. She has trained with the College of Executive Coaching in the USA and is certified with the World Association of Business Coaches and the England and Wales Law Society.

“The corporation is both a dominant social and economic institution for our time. It is where we can practice social justice and environmental responsibility to make the world a better place while creating wealth. It is our responsibility in business to take a stand for and then create the future we want, rather than reacting to one that emerges.”
